Founded in 2003 by Washington State wine visionary Allen Shoup, Long Shadows brought seven highly acclaimed vintners from the major wine regions of the world to showcase the viticultural excellence of Washington State's Columbia Valley. Long Shadows director of winemaking and viticulture, Gilles Nicault, oversees the operations of of the winery.

From the beginning, the wines have enjoyed critical acclaim that has continued with each vintage. In addition, Long Shadows has won numerous awards, including Food & Wine magazine's "Winery of the Year."

Allen Shoup
